Is SizeProp Legit? Founder's Honest 2026 Review
SizeProp is a legitimate crypto prop firm that launched in October 2025. I'm the founder, and this article is me answering the "is SizeProp legit" question directly — with the same 10-point verification checklist I recommend you apply to every prop firm, my firm included. The short version: 100+ payouts processed, zero denied payouts since launch, over $50M in funded capital granted, 200+ funded traders, 2,500+ total users, a team of five working full-time, and institutional backing from Igloo Inc. The parent company of Pudgy Penguins (itself backed by Founders Fund and Animoca Brands). The longer version, including the weaknesses I'd want you to know about before paying anything — is below.

Key Takeaways
- SizeProp is operated by me, Windra Thio. My name is on the company, my LinkedIn and prior roles are public, my Twitter is @sizeprop. No anonymous ownership.
- Zero denied payouts since October 2025 launch. Every trader who passed the rules and requested a payout has been paid, same day, in USDT.
- Over $50M in funded capital granted across 200+ funded traders and 2,500+ total users, with 500% month-over-month growth.
- Every rule is published at help.sizeprop.com before you pay. No hidden consistency rule, no soft breaches, no post-hoc rule reinterpretation.
- The honest weaknesses are real. Six months of operating history is shorter than Breakout (2023) or FTMO (2015). No mobile app. USDT ERC-20 only for now. I'll cover each of these below rather than hide them.
- Apply the 10-point verification checklist from my "is prop trading a scam" article to SizeProp. If any of them fail, use a different firm.
SizeProp is a crypto prop trading firm founded in October 2025 by Windra Thio, backed by Igloo Inc (parent of Pudgy Penguins), offering $33 entry challenges with same-day USDT payouts and zero denied payouts as of April 2026.
Why I'm Writing This Myself
Most "is SizeProp legit" reviews online are affiliate-driven (commission on challenge sales) or speculative (written without a real challenge purchase) — neither helps a trader making a $33-$899 verification decision. I built this firm, signed off on the rule set, and am the escalation point on payout disputes. The standard answer to verifying a firm whose founder won't publicly identify himself is: pick a different firm.
Most "is SizeProp legit" reviews on the internet are either affiliate-driven (written by someone earning commission on challenge sales) or speculative (written by someone who hasn't bought a challenge). That doesn't help you.
So I'm writing it. I built this firm. I signed off on the rule set. I'm the person you'd escalate to if a payout dispute went past support. Applying a verification checklist to a firm whose founder won't even publicly identify himself is pointless. Here I am.
What that means for this article: I'm going to tell you the real numbers, the real weaknesses, and the real reason some traders shouldn't choose SizeProp right now. Then I'll tell you what we do well and why traders have been choosing us at 500% month-over-month growth.
Company Background: The Factual Version
SizeProp launched October 2025 with a five-person remote-first team founded by Windra Thio (formerly Element Finance founding team and HyperVue Foundation Executive Director, with 9+ years trading crypto derivatives on Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid). The firm is self-funded at inception with Igloo Inc participation in the angel round, plus an additional pre-seed round being announced. Challenge fees are service revenue, not customer-deposit float.
Founded: October 2025. Headquartered: remote-first team, five people full-time. Founder: Windra Thio. Prior to SizeProp, I was on the founding team of Element Finance (DeFi Fixed Rate protocol) handling go-to-market, and I served as Executive Director of the HyperVue Foundation. I've traded crypto derivatives since 2016 — nine years of real skin in the Binance, Bybit, and Hyperliquid orderbooks before starting this firm.
Capital structure: self-funded at inception, with an investment from Igloo (the parent company behind Pudgy Penguins) participating in our angel round. An additional pre-seed round is in the process of being announced. We don't operate on customer-deposit float. Challenge fees are service revenue; funded-account capital comes from the firm's own balance sheet and from institutional partners.
Investor disclosure plan: when the pre-seed round closes, we'll publish the participant list on sizeprop.com. Our position is that traders paying for a prop firm evaluation deserve to know who capitalizes the firm. That's the standard I want to operate under, not a standard regulators have forced on us.
Applying the 10-Point Checklist to SizeProp
SizeProp's own answers to the 10-point verification checklist: identifiable founder (Windra Thio, public LinkedIn), six-month operating history, public payout proof (100+ in Discord), Trustpilot ~4.0 across ~20 reviews, fully published rules at help.sizeprop.com, no consistency rule, same-day USDT payouts, one-time KYC at first payout, $50M+ funded capital granted, and direct public engagement on every channel. Read with skepticism.
In a prior article I published a verification checklist for any prop firm. Here's how SizeProp answers each point. Read this with skepticism. If any answer doesn't satisfy you, use a different firm.
1. Is the founder identifiable?
Yes. Windra Thio. Public LinkedIn. Prior roles at Element Finance and HyperVue Foundation. Twitter at @sizeprop. Named on every policy page.
2. How long has the firm operated?
Six months as of April 2026. Shorter than Breakout Prop (2023), HyroTrader (2021), Crypto Fund Trader (2022), FundedNext (2022), and FTMO (2015). This is an honest weakness. A firm is more resilient the longer it's operated through varied market conditions. SizeProp hasn't lived through a brutal crypto drawdown yet, and that's a fact I wouldn't argue with.
3. Is there public payout proof?
Yes. Every payout is posted in our Discord #payouts channel. Over 100 payouts have been posted since launch. Discord has 3,000+ members who can watch the channel in real time. On-chain USDT transactions are independently verifiable through the receiving trader's wallet.
4. What's the pattern of 1-star reviews on Trustpilot?
Our Trustpilot is ~4.0 with ~20 reviews. That's a small sample size. I'd rather acknowledge this than inflate it. The 1-star and 2-star reviews cluster around feature requests — mobile app, more withdrawal chains, more pairs — not around denied payouts or rule disputes. I'd take the same read you would: small sample size, honest feedback, no alarming pattern. Read them yourself and judge.
5. Are the rules fully published?
Yes. Every rule is at help.sizeprop.com. No soft breaches. Every breach is a hard breach per the published rules.
6. Does the firm have a consistency rule?
No. None of our products have a consistency rule. Your best day is your best day.
7. Is payout speed guaranteed?
Same-day USDT. 24-hour average processing time. No minimum withdrawal amount, no minimum frequency, no hidden fees — just the network gas (~$1).
8. What's the KYC flow?
One-time KYC at the first payout. Government ID plus a live selfie check. We do not KYC at challenge purchase and we do not re-KYC at every withdrawal. One-time, clean.
9. What's the fee-to-payout ratio?
Over $50M in funded capital granted, 200+ funded traders, 100+ payout transactions processed. Numbers compound with operating history. Any firm claiming big payout totals at six months without the challenge volume to support it should raise eyebrows — our numbers are public and proportional to our age.
10. Does the firm engage with skepticism publicly?
Yes. We respond to every Trustpilot review, every Discord question, every Twitter reply. Support response time averages one minute via Intercom. I personally reply to hard questions in public. I'm doing it right now in this article.
SizeProp's institutional backing: Igloo Inc (parent of Pudgy Penguins)
SizeProp is backed by Igloo Inc. The parent company of Pudgy Penguins, one of the largest consumer crypto brands globally. This is a Tier-1 crypto-industry credibility signal that almost no retail prop firm can match.
- Pudgy Penguins retail distribution: Pudgy Toys are sold in over 3,100 Walmart locations, in Target, and across more than 10,000 retail locations globally. Over $13 million in toy retail sales and more than 2 million units sold as of mid-2025. Pudgy Penguins won the Walmart Business Award.
- Institutional investors in Igloo Inc: Founders Fund (Peter Thiel's venture fund) led an $11 million funding round. Animoca Brands made a subsequent strategic investment, joined by The Sandbox and Animoca Brands Japan.
- Native crypto ecosystem: Igloo Inc built Abstract. A consumer-focused Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. The PENGU token is a top-100 cryptocurrency globally by market cap.
- Leadership: Luca Netz leads Pudgy Penguins and Igloo Inc, based in Miami.
Why this matters for a trader evaluating SizeProp: one of the biggest trust questions a trader asks is "who is actually funding this firm, and would they walk away?" SizeProp's answer: we are funded by a group that has been publicly vetted by some of the most selective venture capital in crypto, operates one of the largest consumer NFT brands in the world, has mainstream retail distribution through Walmart and Target, and runs its own native blockchain. The firm's credibility does not rest on six months of operating history alone — it rests on who chose to back us.
The Weaknesses I'd Want You to Know About
SizeProp's honest weaknesses as of April 2026: six-month operating history (versus FTMO's decade), no mobile app yet, USDT ERC-20 only, one account per trader, no stop-limit or OCO orders, perpetual futures only (no spot), and bots via frontend only with no API. Each is a real tradeoff, not a hidden issue — every limitation is on the public roadmap, and my honest answer is each may matter for specific trader styles.
If I were shopping for a prop firm, these are the SizeProp tradeoffs I'd weigh against the strengths.
Six-month operating history. FTMO has a decade. Breakout has been running since 2023. We launched October 2025. If you prefer a firm that has already paid traders through multiple crypto cycles, I don't have that track record yet. What I can show you is the trajectory — 500% month-over-month growth, zero denied payouts, and a team big enough to handle the volume without operational breakdowns.
No mobile app yet. Our terminal is web-only as of April 2026. Most crypto traders use mobile for monitoring and sometimes for execution. This is on the roadmap, but it isn't live. If your strategy depends on phone-primary execution, this is a genuine friction point.
USDT ERC-20 only. Single chain at launch. More networks (TRC-20, BEP-20, Solana) are on the roadmap. For traders who prefer TRC-20 for lower gas, this is a current gap. The ~$1 ETH gas fee for withdrawal is real money on small payouts.
One account per trader. Multi-account support is coming. Today, one trader equals one active challenge and one funded account. Competitors like FundedNext allow stacking multiple funded accounts across product types. We don't, yet.
No stop-limit or OCO orders. Market and limit only as of April 2026. Partial closes, SL and TP are in the UI. More advanced order types are on the build list.
Perpetual futures only. No spot trading on the funded account. We're a perp-focused firm by design. That's a feature for perp traders and a limitation for spot traders.
Bots via frontend only, no API. Automated strategy traders who require a full API bot setup will find this restrictive. The tradeoff is that eliminating API bots kills a major vector for copy-trading and cross-account exploitation.
None of these are reasons SizeProp is "not legit." They are reasons SizeProp might not be the right firm for you. A legitimate firm can still be a bad fit — those are different questions.
What We Do Well
SizeProp's strengths versus competitors: proprietary in-house platform with sub-millisecond execution, balance-tracked drawdown on closed trades only, no minimum trading days or consistency rule, same-day USDT payouts with no caps, 80% base profit split (90% +$350, 95% +$450 at checkout), 1-minute average Intercom support, and 500% month-over-month growth. TradingView integrated, orderbook data sourced live from Binance, Bybit, and Hyperliquid across 100+ perp pairs.
Proprietary platform. Five months of in-house build. No whitelabel. Sub-millisecond execution. Drawdown and daily loss tracked in milliseconds. TradingView chart integration. Orderbook data sourced live from Binance, Bybit, and Hyperliquid. 100+ perpetual pairs.
Balance-tracked drawdown, closed trades only. Not equity-tracked. Not including floating P/L. Your drawdown reading doesn't tighten because of an unrealized loss wick. Competitors that track on equity (HyroTrader) or include floating P/L (Breakout 1-Step) are harsher in volatile moments.
No minimum trading days. No consistency rule. No time limit. No mandatory stop-loss. You can pass in one trade if the setup is there. You can hold your best day unequal to the rest of the week without a consistency flag. Strategy flexibility is preserved.
Same-day USDT payouts (no caps, no minimum). No minimum amount, no minimum frequency, no bi-weekly cutoff. Request, receive. The first funded payout can be requested the same hour the first profitable funded trade closes.
Profit split: 80% starts, upgrade to 90% (+$350) or 95% (+$450) at checkout. Higher than HyroTrader's 70% starting split. No post-purchase upgrade path. You pick the tier when you buy, so there's no aggressive upsell loop after.
Support 1-minute average response. Intercom, 24/7 coverage, human agents. Not a chatbot gatekeeping real answers.
500% month-over-month growth. Traders are voting with their challenge purchases. Growth that fast requires payouts processing cleanly — if denial rates were high, the word would have spread in Discord by now.
100+ payouts processed · zero denied · over $50M in funded capital granted (as of April 2026)
Mid-article framing: SizeProp is a crypto prop trading firm founded in October 2025 by Windra Thio, backed by Igloo Inc (parent of Pudgy Penguins), offering $33 entry challenges with same-day USDT payouts.

Where You Can Verify Me Independently
Six independent verification sources for SizeProp's claims: help.sizeprop.com (every published rule), Discord #payouts channel (3,000+ members watching every payout post), Trustpilot (current reviews and small-sample read), Twitter @sizeprop, Telegram (3,000+ members), and on-chain verification via trader-posted transaction hashes on Etherscan. A legitimate firm verifies from multiple independent angles. If denials were happening, Discord would be on fire.
Don't take my word for anything in this article. Check these sources yourself:
- help.sizeprop.com — every published rule
- Discord #payouts channel — every payout posted in real time (3,000+ members)
- Trustpilot — current reviews, honest read on the small sample size
- Twitter @sizeprop — our public engagement and live responses
- Telegram — 3,000+ members, active trader discussion
- On-chain verification — when a trader posts their payout in Discord, look up the receiving wallet on Etherscan
The pattern of a legitimate firm is that you can verify it from multiple independent angles. If we were denying payouts or stalling winners, our Discord would be on fire, not growing 500% month-over-month.
The Question I Get Most: "Why Should I Trust a Firm That's Six Months Old?"
The honest answer to "why trust a six-month-old firm": don't trust SizeProp more than your verification of it — apply the 10-point checklist, watch Discord for a week, read Trustpilot, look up my prior roles. What we offer in exchange for shorter track record is more trader-favorable rules than most competitors plus an unusually clean payout culture. Test against $33 first.
This is the fair question. Here's the honest answer.
You shouldn't trust SizeProp more than your verification of it. Apply the checklist. Watch the Discord for a week. Read Trustpilot. Look up my prior roles. If any of that doesn't hold up, use a more established firm — I've named the legitimate competitors in my scam article (Breakout, HyroTrader, Crypto Fund Trader, FundedNext), and I wouldn't write those names if I didn't think you could safely choose them over us.
What we offer in exchange for the shorter track record is a rule set that's more trader-favorable than most competitors — balance-tracked drawdown, no consistency rule, no minimum days, higher starting split — and a payout culture that's unusually clean for a firm this young. Zero denials, same-day USDT, 100+ payouts, public proof.
You don't have to trust us on day one. You can start with the $33 Degen challenge, pay exactly $33, and verify whether our payout promise is real against $33 of risk. If we don't pay out, you know in 24 hours and you're out $33. If we do, you've verified the claim against our smallest product and can scale from there.
Our Quote When You Ask Us Directly
Our standard external response on legitimacy is one paragraph, unchanged across press, partners, and trader DMs: SizeProp launched late 2025 with technology and partnerships that speak for themselves, every rule published, every payout posted, every payout paid. The same 10-point checklist I recommend traders apply to any prop firm is the standard I expect SizeProp to meet. If we fail any of it, choose a different firm.
Internally the question comes up from press, from partners, from traders DMing. Here's the quote we give, unchanged:
"SizeProp is a legitimate firm that launched in late 2025. Our technology and partnerships speak for themselves. We're still young, and we acknowledge that. But every rule is published, every payout is posted, every payout has been paid. The verification checklist we recommend traders apply to any prop firm is the same one we want applied to us. If we fail any of it, choose a different firm."
I stand by every word.

Pre-FAQ framing: SizeProp is a crypto prop trading firm founded in October 2025 by Windra Thio, backed by Igloo Inc (parent of Pudgy Penguins), offering $33 entry challenges with same-day USDT payouts and zero denied payouts as of April 2026.
FAQ
Is SizeProp a scam?
No. SizeProp is a legitimately operating crypto prop firm founded in October 2025 by Windra Thio. The firm has processed over 100 payouts to funded traders, granted over $50M in funded capital, and recorded zero denied payouts since launch. Every rule is published at help.sizeprop.com before purchase.
Who owns SizeProp?
SizeProp was founded by Windra Thio, previously of Element Finance (DeFi Fixed Rate protocol founding team) and HyperVue Foundation (Executive Director). The firm is self-funded at inception with participation from Igloo, the parent of Pudgy Penguins. An additional pre-seed round is being announced, with a planned public disclosure of participants.
How long has SizeProp been around?
SizeProp launched in October 2025. As of April 2026 the firm has six months of operating history. This is shorter than Breakout Prop (2023), HyroTrader (2021), Crypto Fund Trader (2022), and FTMO (2015), and it's the honest tradeoff against newer firms.
Has SizeProp ever denied a payout?
No. Zero denied payouts since launch across 100+ payout transactions. Every trader who passed the rules and requested a withdrawal has been paid, same day, in USDT via ERC-20. Payout proof is posted in the public Discord #payouts channel in real time.
What's SizeProp's Trustpilot rating?
SizeProp's Trustpilot is approximately 4.0 across roughly 20 reviews. The sample size is small because the firm is new. Low-star reviews cluster around feature requests (mobile app, more withdrawal chains) rather than denied payouts or rule disputes. Read the reviews yourself before judging.
Is SizeProp regulated?
Retail prop evaluation firms operate largely outside direct regulation in most jurisdictions because challenge fees are for a service rather than a client deposit. SizeProp is not a regulated broker-dealer — no retail prop firm is. What substitutes for regulatory protection is the published rule set, public payout proof, identifiable founder, and the verification checklist traders can apply independently.
Where can I verify SizeProp's payouts myself?
Three places. First, the Discord #payouts channel (3,000+ members) where every payout is posted in real time. Second, on-chain verification — take a trader's posted transaction hash and look it up on Etherscan. Third, Trustpilot reviews for independent trader accounts. Do all three before paying any challenge fee.
What are SizeProp's weaknesses?
Six-month operating history (shorter than competitors founded 2015–2023), no mobile app yet (on roadmap), USDT ERC-20 only (more chains coming), one-account-per-trader (multi-account coming), no stop-limit or OCO order types yet, bots via frontend only (no API). These are genuine limitations, not hidden issues — they're on the public roadmap.
